The beginning of the end

I have finished my Beginner's Analytics training, am in the midst of clearing my Level 1 exams and will be starting on a gruelling 55-hour Intermediate course two weeks from now.

My glamorous GCUS life as I know it will soon be over, and I will join my predecessors in IB hell, where I will be sit in front of a terminal and be subjected to endless questions real-time from clients who pay good money to get intelligent answers.

I will be exposed for my ignorance and incompetence and Jeff shall deliver the eulogy at my funeral.

You are all invited to come, but no flowers please. I rather you donate the money to a worthy charity. They will play Frank Sinatra classics and you will come in your Sunday best and dance to the music, and I will make sure they serve Starbucks coffee and fancy designer sandwiches instead of cheap peanuts and melon seeds and packet drinks.

God help me.

By the way, I have been crowned BFON Queen and Ambassador of International Relations and am mercilessly teased for my love for video conversations with colleagues from other global offices. At least it keeps me a happy camper at work. :)

Plans for the weekend:
- Make-up shopping and coffee with Ouiyoung in town later
- Housewarming and World Cup night at Loyce's tonight
- Church with Armin
- Lazy afternoon coffee with my beloved Cici

Plans for July:
- Make full use of my NEW CLUB MEMBERSHIP AT
PLANET FITNESS, wooot!
(Yes folks, T repented, caved in and signed up for one year.)
- Survive my intermediate ADSK training
- Paint the town red with Ahred and convince him he's not Japanese
- Plan for my month-end trip to Hong Kong to hang out with my sister and darling Jeff
- Catch up with Ad when she comes back from New York, New York!

I feel strangely liberated.
