March on, soldier!
I took my written/practical API exam on Friday and it involved Tylda and I waking up something like 430 am in the morning and hopping onto a cab to get into the office before 6 to do some revision. And because I prayed, and because I'm smarter than I think I am, I did good. Woohoo! Come tomorrow I will be enabled for my first hotdesking session and I have no idea what to expect, but I promised myself I will work hard and make the best of my situation.
As much as the ADSK can be very intensive and brain-deadening (another word I invented ;)), I am getting opportunities that people can only dream about. I am young and I can learn. People pay thousands of dollars to attend finance classes and here I get paid to be trained by the top people in the field. So, if you EVER hear me complaining about my job, please remind me that I am a spoilt little ingrate who deserves to be slapped twenty times over.
I was supposed to study today, but instead I found myself aching from gym and spending my day alternating between eating, sleeping and reading "The Kite Runner".
Adelin and my sister came back yesterday and I found myself with tons of goodies!
I should sleep soon.
