Day One "I'm not here for a holiday." 















Lunch at Bumbu Indonesia-Thai Restaurant. Jeff is still hungry. Mr. Teh Tarik and Toast Box follows. Outdoor dinner at Marina Square Food Court. Jeff informs me that they are building a casino across the road. Japanese dessert at Azabu Sabo. Hong Kong tales. IMF security checks at side entrance of hotel and I declare to the policeman to "do me! do me!" while jumping up and down. Sneak preview of the room with a view (and a very big bathroom).
