Playing tour guide part II 









So tired.

We covered Raffles City Shopping Centre (they wanted local snacks and kaya jam from the basement), Raffles Hotel (kirei!), CHIJMES (I bought them dinner at the same Spanish restaurant I went with Jeff the last time he was here), New Asia Bar (I reckon the best place to hang out in town), Geylang (introduced them to You Tiao King) and drove around Little India- all in the span of 7 hours.

Apparently, I look and speak exactly the same as Emily's college friend from Sophia University and then Rika piped in that I am a carbon copy of her best friend in high school. No wonder people frequently mistake me for being Japanese when I travel.

Can't wait to see them when I visit Tokyo next year!
