Yesterday I met up with Soph and Jan for dinner at Sushi Tei Takashimaya and ate up a feast without burning a hole in our pockets and laughed at our memories of college, of church, of boys and of life. It is not often in life you find friends with whom you can share openly about the things weighing on your hearts without being judging or being judged by each other.

And so it was a thrill getting drenched in the rain with Soph as we giggled and ran from behind Borders to our bus-stop, knowing that this was something we would look back fondly upon a few years down the road.

Tonight was dinner and coffee with Ann near the office and we got talking about some plans for later this year. I have learnt that circumstances can change overnight so I will reveal this in due time, but this is something I want to do for myself this year. 24 is a good age to begin living, grow up and be independent.

I have applied for my leave and will most probably be making a short trip with some girlfriends to KL in early February and a week long vacation in Tokyo in April. And London in September if nothing goes wrong and Jones send me the brochures as promised.
