So I've cleaned out two-thirds of my wardrobe and started packing for my move. I went to Mustafa Centre yesterday and got two huge suitcases to bring my stuff over, although I have no idea how I'll get them from Narita to Baba.

My room is in a horrendous mess and I realized how much things I'd need to give away. Lord knows the amount of shopping I'd continue to do when I'm in Tokyo, the vicious cycles never ends...

The tentative plan now is for P to come here on the 7th of May and spend 9 days here and we will fly to Tokyo together on the 16th. This will give me more baggage weight and let me have some time to settle some things before my training with school starts.

Also he has never been to Southeast Asia and it'd be good to show him where I grew up and share some memories with him in Singapore before I relocate. I've made a list of places to bring him and food to try, and I'm hoping everything falls into place.

With just a month to my departure, I find myself missing Singapore already. I try to play tourist during the day, walking around on my own and taking photos to remember sights and sounds by. I'm also trying to meet up with everyone to say goodbye and let them know I'd be okay.

I don't know when I'll be back again- my contract ends next July. My mum's been telling me not to forget my roots and to call home every week. My sister is taking over my room so all my stuff will be gone as well by the time I'm back, which feels weird.

I wonder what my home in Tokyo will look like.
