After work I took a 90-minute train ride from Atsugi to Kita-Senju to meet Shu-chan and gang for my weekly Japanese feast. (I take my eating very seriously!)
We had cod fish testicles, the most amazing sashimi platter in my life, fried potato salad, grilled ginko nuts, tepanyaki lotus, fried fish cake, a heavenly platter of sashimi, puffer fish nabe (hotpot), fish stock porridge, rare beer, sweet sake and soda-flavoured ice-cream.
Winter will never be the same again after this meal. You don't understand, it was so unbelievably good (albeit a little pricey).
