Tokyo at 10:30
After dinner with the couple in the colourful Kabuki-cho district near their hotel, I decided to whip out my camera and take a couple of random streets shots on my way to the station.
So this is Shinjuku on a weekday night at half-past 10, the city that never quietens, even when it drizzles.
And then I hopped on the Yamanote and was home in less than 10 minutes.
Ah, home sweet home.
I think I'm developing a slight aversion to touristy spots after having lived here for a year and playing host a dozen times.
