I miss you is all 



Today as I was walking home from the train station, I realized that at the exact same time three weeks later, I'd be boarding the plane to Melbourne.

21 days.

Since I last saw you, the world has not stopped spinning. There was the H1N1 virus that started in Mexico and has since made its way Down Under; Aung Sang Suu Kyi is going on trial for "harbouring" a mysterious US intruder and breaking the rules of her house arrest; a couple in Singapore have been jailed for distributing contentious Christian tracts to Muslims; two US journalists were sentenced to 12 years of hard labour in North Korea; and most recently, you have been involved in protests against the Iranian election.

I admitted that I've been having cold feet as my departure date draws nearer. The same cold feet you had when I told you that I was ready to move over. We're not so different in what we want after all. We're both young, driven and stubborn as can be, and the world is our oyster.

But I miss you is all.
