And even though it was snowing so heavily that the pavements were padded white and my naked hands were completely numb and red from the cold, I found myself smiling while I walked my usual route from the station.
The shrubs that lined the bridge were covered in snow, and I reached out and grabbed a handful (it's snowing!) and reminded myself, again, how amazing it is that I've been given the opportunity to live life in a foreign land, start a new career, meet people from all over the world, learn a new language, experience the four seasons and remain so loved by those around me.
