Shonan Bay
In Japan, the beach is
the place to be in the height of summer, when the heat hits you like a wave the moment you leave the comfort of your air-conditioned room and all you want to do is jump into an ocean of water. Ah, the sweet relief!
After a lazy morning in, we decided to head out to Shonan-Enoshima to soak up the sun.
It was a nice change of scenery, far away from the maddening crowd in the city and into the infinite horizon of sea.
Anywhere with you is a good place to be.So I've been back for a week but I feel like a foreigner in this country again.
Singapore will always be my home, and my trip was wonderful but too quick and somewhat emotional. I am reminded of the comforts I have given up to be here, and I find myself asking what for, and if it's still worthwhile staying.
But these questions I do not have the answers for now, and I will have to continue doing what I have been doing until I am able to make the right decision, with a peace of mind.
