Goodbye summer
I had forgotten what the cold felt like, but autumn arrived like an unannounced visitor this year, sudden and unwelcomed. The temperature fell from about 30 degrees last Friday to less than 20 degrees this week.
I reluctantly packed away all my pretty summer dresses and light cardigans, making space for my scarves, jackets and layers upon layers of what-nots.
Since E is out of town for the week, I've been meaning to go around on my own, explore Tokyo like I used to, but the weather has been putting me off. It wouldn't stop raining and I need new shoes.
It's been work, work, work and Sudoku and the Planet Earth documentaries he left me with.
At least I can look forward to tomorrow, my weekend, and I can have some semblance of a life. ;)
Come home quick, my dear!
